Hi! I am Baileigh, a lively and joyful boy looking for a forever family.
I have a brain condition called epilepsy, which causes recurring seizures. They may last less than a minute or a couple of minutes. During a seizure, I freeze and stare into space. I find comfort in laying down in your lap and enjoying gentle strokes from your hands. While my condition might sound scary, it’s very manageable, and the adoption team can share more information about it when you apply to adopt me.
A bit about my background: I was rescued from a terrible breeding situation where I was severely malnourished, covered in ticks, and suffering from mange. Tragically, two of my siblings were killed by my owner, but a kind man and woman saved me just in time.
I know it may be easy to feel sorry for me, but please don’t! The wonderful team at Luna nurtured me back to health, and despite my past, I have a true zest for life. I greet everyone with enthusiasm and love to cuddle. I also enjoy going for walks and getting along well with other dogs!
