Hi! I am Cruz, a sweet and resilient boy looking for a forever home.

My owner permanently chained me to a truck. No walks, no love and stainless steel food bowls standing in the hot sun. Ironically, my owners asked Luna for help. They wanted help to put me down cause I had erlichia, severe aneamia, tvt and heartworm.

Luna was shocked and spoke to my owner who eventually agreed to surrender me into their care. The chain was cut, and that was when my life truly began.

With the help of a local vet and a lot of TLC I got neutered back to health. I do have some problems with my weight sometimes and my vision on one side has lessened due to aneamia in the past but the adoption team can tell you all about it, when you get in touch.

At my former home, I experienced scarcity of food so I can be possessive of my dinner. Please feed me separately from other dogs to ensure that meal time stays a positive experience. I walk well on a lead so it would be great to explore the world with you. I can be selective when it comes to other dogs though but I love humans.
