Hey! I am Delta, a sweet and shy girl looking for her forever home.
Some time ago, I got dumped close to Aruba's airport. Luckily, I formed a pack with a couple of other dogs and managed to survive, but I did get pregnant. Unfortunately, I turned out to be too smart for my own good, and none of the rescuers managed to trap me. Last year, I got pregnant again, and Luna was finally able to catch me.
I gave birth at a foster home, and once my babies were old enough, we all moved to Luna's sanctuary. I am happy to say all my babies found their forever families, and I am hoping to follow in their pawsteps soon!
I get along great with other dogs and have made a great connection with my roommate Goliath. He makes me feel safe and secure. People, however, I still find a bit scary. I do let my carers pet me, but I still have to learn it's something to enjoy. Loud noises and new people make me uncomfortable, so my new family will need to give me time, patience, and love to settle in nicely.
