Hey! I’m Francine, a shy yet loyal girl on the lookout for my forever family.
When I was just a year old, I was rescued from Frenchman Pass, a common dumping ground for unwanted dogs. I was skinny, weak, and had trouble trusting humans. Luckily, some kind rescuers fed me regularly, and eventually, I was trapped and brought to safety. After a brief time at another foundation, I found my way to Luna, who understood my shyness and gave me a chance.
Over the years, I’ve formed a strong bond with one of my carers. I love to cuddle with her and go for walks—she’s my Safe Haven and my light; with her, I feel most confident! I know that with time, patience, and lots of love, I can form such a bond with my new family too.
I’m great with other dogs, so if you already have one at home, that could help me settle in even better! I’ve waited many years for the right person to visit and take me home. Are you the one?
