I came to live at Luna’s Safe Haven after Luna got a call about me from a vet. Apparently, my owners had gotten enough of me, so they tied me to the tree in front of veterinary practice. Obliviously, the vet couldn’t keep me and since the only other option was euthanasia, Luna took me in.
I’ve been at the sanctuary for about two years now and I am more than ready for the next step.
The best thing in the world: people. I truly don’t know any strangers as I take every opportunity to get a good belly rub! I am a smart girl who has learned the command sit. People often think adults can't learn new tricks but they're wrong. I am certain I can learn many more!
I might need a little extra time to warm up to new dog friends, but once I do, I’m a playful and loving companion. I have a wonderful buddy named Starlight—he's my cage mate, and we have the best time exploring and playing together. I know that with a gentle introduction, I could be just as good of a friend to your pets.
